In this system users pay in advance for the amount of waste which they wish to dispose off. Through their payment they obtain the right (reflected by a tag, sticker or a specially marked bag) to forward a specified volume of waste to the collection service. In order to get the amount of waste forwarded to collection measured and allow the service crew to easily control whether it is in relation to the payments made, receptacles of standard size (marked with the tag or sticker) or sacks (pre-paid bag) of known volume have to be used.
